Sustainability Report 2024
Our 2024 sustainability report, highlights Fasoli Gino’s pioneering commitment to sustainable winemaking, with a focus on Equalitas certification, which evaluates environmental, social and economic aspects.
Certification and standards
Equalitas certification represents a voluntary standard that ensures sustainable management of the entire wine supply chain through good agricultural, processing and social practices.
Measurable indicators include biodiversity, carbon and water footprint, confirming the scientific approach to sustainability.
Agricultural practices
Since 1984, we have embraced organic farming, implementing the biodynamic method since 2006. This approach excludes the use of chemical pesticides, encouraging a natural soil balance and promoting biodiversity.
Environmental results
The results of biodiversity indicators are particularly significant:
Soil biodiversity: 113.5 (above threshold 100)
Aquatic biodiversity: 62 (above threshold 30)
Lichen biodiversity: 46.5 (above threshold 45)
Territorial commitment
We maintain strong ties with the Veronese territory, where we produce our excellent wines with full respect for local culture and values.
Our winery is distinguished by two key elements: the production of wines from pure Garganega grapes and the use of the traditional withering method.
Future Perspectives
Our efforts are focused on enhancing regenerative agriculture practices and finding innovative solutions to further reduce our environmental impact.
We will continue to maintain the high standards of sustainability we have achieved, always looking to the future with determination and responsibility.
Our mission is to preserve and enhance this unique heritage, ensuring an ever richer and more vital territory for future generations.
