Descent of the Adige River in Verona and tasting of Fasoli Gino organic wines

Discover with us the Adige River and the architectural beauty of Verona from a new vantage point! A special descent that will also be an opportunity to taste our wines in the three stages of aperitif rafting on the Adige River.

Navigation begins at the Adige Rafting base at the Bottagisio Sport Center where the first aperitif is offered with cheese boards and local cured meats paired with Garganega Brut “La Corte del Pozzo” Fasoli Gino.

After 45 minutes of navigation, we stop in the middle of the river in the sight of the wonderful arches of the Scaligero bridge to taste Borgoletto Soave DOC. Finally, arriving by river at the 18th-century river customs house in the Filippini area, the third tasting is offered-Bardolino DOC “La Corte del Pozzo” accompanied by some appetizers. A visit to the Adige Museum housed inside the building will also be possible.

A traveling aperitif rafting event that combines the beauty of Verona as seen from the river with thetasting of local wines in unique locations reachable only by river. All topped off with tales of the city’s river history.

Rafting rafts are used for navigation, each of which can accommodate a maximum of 12 people in addition to the F.I.Raft river guide.
Participants will be provided with a life jacket and, for those who wish, a paddle. At the height of the Victory Bridge and the marvelous Stone Bridge, dating back to Roman times, participants will experience the small thrill of passing over the waves of the river.

TIMETABLE

5:45 p.m.: meeting at San Fermo bus stop(Stradone San Fermo, 2 – Verona) to reach by private shuttle our base at Chievo – Bottagisio Sports Center. Alternatively, you can arrange to meet at the Bottagisio Center (free parking) at 6 p.m. and take the shuttle back at the end of the activity.
6 pm: Registration and first wine tasting.
6:30 p.m.: boarding.
7:15 pm: Arrival near Castelvecchio for the second step of the trail for second wine tasting and stories about the ancient use of the river.
8 p.m.: Arrival at the former River Customs House in Old Town, last drink and illustration of the Adige Museum.
8:30 p.m.: End of activity.

On dates from August 26 onward, the times are all advanced by 30 minutes.
