Valpolicella is part of the tradition of our territory and, therefore, also of our history. Its typical grapes are beautiful and generous, producing an exceptional wine. The vineyards are located in the splendid Val d’Illasi, which includes both the Soave and Valpolicella areas.

Harvest: Starts at the end of September with multiple passages and sorting of the grapes. Only the best are destined for pressing.
Drying: Part of the grapes is placed in boxes for a light drying of 15-20 days.
Fermentation: Separate for fresh grapes (in steel tanks) and dried grapes (in wooden barrels).
Aging: After 10-12 months, we proceed with bottling where the wine will remain to refine for another 5-6 months.

Terroir and viticulture:

Il Valpolicella “La Corte del Pozzo” nasce da vigneti collinari nella Val d’Illasi, dove i suoli sono prevalentemente calcarei. Il sistema di allevamento è la tradizionale pergola corta veronese, con una resa di 120 quintali per ettaro.

Organoleptic characteristics:

• COLOR: Bright and compact ruby ​​red.
• BOUQUET: Notes of red fruit and small red fruit jam, with a spicy echo.
• TASTE: Harmony between full-bodied tannins and acidity, combined with the flavor of ripe fruit. On the palate it is dry, velvety, with good structure and harmonious.
