“Dei Siori” is a dialectal expression of Venetian origin. Inspired by the ancient refinement of the noble families of Verona, the Fasoli brothers created “Dei Signori,” a red wine that carries with it the history of a region and its people. It embraces and consoles the nostalgia for a lost era, reviving its ancient knowledge. A sip of the past that shapes memories never experienced. This wine embodies the elegance and winemaking tradition of Verona, offering a tasting experience that is unique and rich in history.
Characteristics
Vinification:
Harvest: Manual, in mid-August for Pinot Noir and in the first fifteen days of September for Merlot.
Fermentation: In steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
Aging: In second/third passage tonneaux for approximately 24 months.
Terroir and viticulture:
“Dei Siori” comes from vineyards with silty, sandy and stony soil. The cultivation systems are the Pergola Corta Veronese and the Guyot, with a yield of 60 quintals per hectare.
Organoleptic characteristics:
COLOR: Clear and bloody ruby ​​red.
BOUQUET: Woody notes that do not overpower the intrinsic scent of the wine. Hints of plum and violet with depth of undergrowth.
TASTE: Soft and velvety, with a slightly tannic finish and a touch of minerality. Extraordinarily elegant finish.
